It's Wednesday again and you know what that means! Book recommendation time, once again. This week's book recommendation is Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen. It's the story of a young medical student in the early part of the Great Depression. When his parents die, he literally takes off and joins the traveling circus life. It's got some seriously great humor in it, and it's a hard one to put down.

I have this book in my basement right now. My mother-in-law gave it to me and told me it was a great book.
As soon as I finish what I'm reading now, I'll make it next on my list.
I LOVE your book recommendations, btw. Have you read "The Jane Austen Book Club"? I'm reading it right now and I'm thoroughly enjoying it...but then I've always loved Austen. So a book about smart people discussing Austen with a little love and romance thrown in?! Heaven.
